Only one hour from Melbourne in the beautiful Yarra Valley, Warratina Lavender Farm offers guests the opportunity to walk through the rows of blooming lavender and enjoy the fragrance of this magnificent herb.
Harvesting starts early each day, so morning visitors may even catch the harvesters picking the lavender using traditional methods.
During harvest, the drying shed is full of bunches hanging from the roof creating an amazing sight. Guests may even watch the lavender being processed.
The gift shop is full of Warratina’s products with free samplings. There is also a wide selection of gifts available for purchase.
Visitors can complement their visit with some refreshments including lavender teas, scones and ice-cream.
Access to the Homestead Garden will be open throughout the summer, allowing guests the privilege to enjoy this well-maintained garden and a wide variety of flowering plants.
