THEY’RE off. Don’t pack away your spring racing outfits just yet, as these races will stop the Yarra Valley.
Get your friends and family together, get dressed up and head down to your local racecourse.
Country racing offers a quite different atmosphere to city racing.
You hear the wind whistling through the trees, the fresh air around you and the excitement of picking your favourite country horse hoping that you’ve picked the winner.
But for racing, it’s almost all about the fashion as much as it is about the horses.
This season’s fashion is all about making a statement by wearing exotic prints and bold colours.
If not bold enough to wear bold wear, then a simple pastel will look spectacular on the field.
This year, forget the city. Yarra Valley Racing at Yarra Glen Racecourse has got you covered for your summer fix of horse racing.
This summer there are multiple events to attend like their Christmas Race Day on 18 December, Chill out Race Day on 28 December or Kids Day out on 12 January.
The Christmas Race Day will include:
* Live music;
* Dining and hospitality packages;
* Yarra Valley food;
* Yarra Valley wine; and
