FROM the moment you set your eyes on the breathtaking views – its amore.
Hidden down a windy Warrandyte South road, you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve found your own piece of Italy.
Olivigna is like nothing else in the area.
Set over eight hectares, this working winery, olive grove, distillery, restaurant and venue makes it easy to get lost in the moment.
Throw in a truly authentic Italian experience and feel yourself immersed in the Italian way of life.
Quality modern Italian cuisine mixed with authentic hospitality and picturesque views – you’ll be asking yourself why you’ve never come across this gem before.
There’s a wood-fired oven, an eclectic mix of fixtures and fittings, everything about Olivigna makes you feel warm and cosy inside.
Property owners Anna Gallo and John Di Pietro said Olivigna offers professional service, but done in a casual way.
“Our food is inspired by the property, and we offer Italian meals mainly, with a modern twist,” Anna said.
“This could mean a traditional lasagne, with seafood.
“We wanted to bring something different to the region, something they haven’t seen before.”
Visitors will soon be lucky enough to try homemade limoncello made from lemons on the property and purchase property’s award-winning olive oil.
It’s been something the locals have been screaming for – why not stop in for lunch or dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. Open for breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Also available for functions and weddings.
Distillery coming soon.
