TECOMA has made headlines around the world over the past few years, but the town hopes to be known for something more.
It has now become the op-shop capital of the Yarra Ranges, with five pre-loved opportunity stores lining the town’s main street.
Reporter REBECCA BILLS took locals Annabelle and Connor to check out what this melting pot of pre-loved clothes had to offer – and they weren’t disappointed.
Tecoma Traders Association president Karen Rook says when shoppers come to Tecoma they need to be prepared to shop around and make a few hours out of exploring what each shop has to offer.
“As you can see by the outfits Annabelle and Connor are wearing, multiple op-shops were visited to create the perfect look at an affordable price,” she said.
