A local family run business, Healesville’s The Valley Grind Cafe provides scrumptious food, affordable prices and a cosy environment for guests to sit back and enjoy summer in the hills.
Open for breakfast, brunch and lunch as well as morning and afternoon tea, The Valley Grind caters for both private functions in the cafe and also delivers to customers outside its premises.
And as owner Karen Odermatt explained, the recently opened cafe is yet to expand its horizons throughout the coming warmer months.
“Our cafe is cosy and inviting and can offer seating up to 16 people outside,” Karen said.
“We plan to open in the warmer weather for Friday and Saturday night tapas, beer and wine.”
With a team of friendly staff and a chef with nearly two decades of experience under their belt, the cafe can cater for various food allergies and all staff have undertaken coffee training.
And with a focus on supporting the local community, The Valley Grind stocks various teas and coffee products as well as the internationally popular Joco cups.
The store also intends to offer local chocolates and biscuits in the lead-up to Christmas.
The Valley Grind Cafe is located at 207 Maroondah Highway Healesville. For more information, phone 5962 3848 or find them on Facebook for the cafe’s latest special offers and menus.
