Pop into Yering Station winery for the oldest and longest-running farmers’ market, held in the heritage barn on the third Sunday of each month. It’s an institution for food lovers!

No need to rush … Yarra Glen’s network of trails makes it ideal for strolling!
In recent years trails have been developed aimed at linking communities and natural beauty spots.
For a longer walk explore the Steels Creek to Yarra Glen trail.
Shorter walks around the town include the wetlands adjacent to the shopping centre, the Yarra River walk and the Yarra Flats Billabongs walk.
Take your camera to capture some of the abundant birdlife.

Race days
Pack a picnic, throw out a rug on the lawn or set up under a big umbrella and experience the friendly, country atmosphere of a day at the races.
Yarra Valley racing is stacked with opportunities over summer for a great day out, fashions on the field, kids’ activities, live music, great food and, of course, the opportunity to get up close to the action on the track.
