Situated in the middle of Marysville’s main street with a plethora of services at hand, the Tower Motel offers a picturesque location and all the services travellers need to enjoy their stay.
Located half an hour’s drive from Healesville, 90 minutes from Melbourne, the Tower Motel sits in the middle of Marysville’s main tourist strip, Murchison Street.
The building’s exterior is from the 1970s, with the building being one of three left standing after the tragic Black Saturday bushfires levelled the town.
However the rooms have been renovated to boast all the comforts visitors can expect.
David Stirling, who owns the Tower Motel with his wife, Leanne, said that his favourite parts of the motel were the courtyard and the wine bar, which allow visitors plenty of space.
He said that visitors would get the extra mile of service in Marysville, with interaction between management and visitors and packages to meet their customers’ whims.
“The feedback we’re getting so far, and some of the reviews we are getting, is sensational,” David said.
“It’s good to know that people are feeling good about us – that we make people feel welcome.
“It’s not about taking people’s money – it’s about creating a relationship.”
The Tower’s 15 rooms come equipped with televisions, DVD players, Foxtel, heating and cooling, ensuite bathrooms, a bar fridge, tea and coffee and the King Deluxe Rooms come with a free-standing bath for extra comfort.
David said the Tower Motel, which features a large metal tower behind the building, would have a new reception area constructed at the building, which will be opened before the snow season begins.
He warned, however, that families, couples and visitors to the motel for the snow season would need to book in early to avoid disappointment.
“Don’t wait for the snow to fall,” he said.
The Tower Hotel is located at 33 Murchison Street, Marysville.
