LOCATED on the banks of the Yarra River is the delectable Warrandyte Café.
With the smell of freshly ground coffee beans, it’s the perfect weekend spot to catch up with friends and enjoy the buzz of the café in the charming town.
Warrandyte Café is named in The Coffee Army Handbook 2012 as one of the top 100 places to get coffee in and around Melbourne.
Owner Tammy Cromwell said staff were proud of the achievement.
“Considering there is a café on nearly every corner of Melbourne we are very happy to be named in the top 100,” she said.
Tammy used to be a customer at the peaceful riverside café and bought it five years ago.
“It’s been around for about 14 years,” she said.
“It’s very laid back, we love dogs coming and we’ve even had horses here in the past,” she said.
“It has a very rural and country feel here and really caters for everyone.”
All food is cooked fresh on the premises with love and the varied menu caters for all tastes and preferences at a reasonable price.
Warrandyte Café is located at 61 Yarra Street, Warrandyte, and is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 8am to 5pm.
